Our Story

Hi, I’m Sammie, co-creator and founder here at The Dog’s Tale. Along with my husband Jorge, we have always believed that by some force of nature, the dogs we have loved and lost over the years brought us together, maybe because they knew that our hearts, together, could do some good in this world. With patience and care, we learn every day the importance of becoming a voice for four-legged pals and sharing their tales.

The name "The Dog’s Tale" stemmed from our sincere belief that every dog has a tale to tell, and it is our dedication for them that inspires us to take part in and help tell as many of their stories as possible. It is extremely important to us that every dog experiences the joy of that wonderful four-letter word - LOVE; specifically, dogs who require being rescued and given a second chance at life. After all, even a story with a troubled beginning can have its own unique and beautiful ending.

Our Crew

Luna, most definitely handles Accounting, she is quite precise in ensuring all food pebble collections are accurate, not one pebble will go unaccounted for, this I can promise you.

If you are a true dog lover like us, then you know every pup has a unique personality, and let me tell you, there is no shortage of personality here at The Dog’s Tale headquarters!

Let’s just say Donna, the official Security Guard, does not stop patrolling the grounds as long as we are experiencing sunny weather conditions.

Whisper, the baby of the house, has practically assigned himself the role of Human Resources, as he is responsible for dog’cruiting, sniffing (aka screening) and he absolutely loves to handle dog'ee relations.

Last but not least, Joy, our Director of Fun and Games, and the newest addition to our pack, has extensive experience in ensuring playtime is a necessity.
